Pregnancy Options

Every female has three different options to choose from when she is pregnant. Choosing an option takes time and careful thought. A pregnant teen's options are:

• Having a baby and parenting
• Having a baby and adoption
• Abortion

To consider each pregnancy option, it is best that a pregnant minor know about what legal rights she has in Texas to make the best choice for her. It is important to remember that her parent or legal guardian cannot make this decision for her or force her to make a decision regarding her pregnancy against her better judgment.

One of the services provided by Jane's Due Process is to help ensure that minors have access to all of the options legally available, whether that is continuing or ending the pregnancy.
